Ambassador Kuang Visits Freetown City Hall

On March 15, Ambassador KUANG Weilin visited Freetown City Hall and met with the Acting Mayor of Freetown Mr. Gibril I. B. Kanu, who held a special welcoming ceremony in the ambassador's honor when he arrived. Over the meeting, they exchanged views on promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.  The Acting Chief Administrator Mr. Conteh and Councilor Mr. Masood Sesay and other officials from the council were also present at the meeting.

Ambassador Kuang said that the beautiful scenery and wonderful people in Freetown have left him a very deep impression and the city has vast potential for future development. He assured the acting mayor of his commitment to working closely with the city council to strengthen cooperation between China and the City.

Acting Mayor Kanu expressed his gratitude for the tremendous support and assistance that China has provided to the country over the years and looked forward to strengthening cooperation with China in such fields as urban planning and infrastructure.
