Ambassador Wang Qing met with Vice President of Sierra Leone Mr. Jalloh and witnessed the signing of the handover certificate

On February 6, 2024, Ambassador Wang Qing met with Vice President of Sierra Leone Mr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and exchanged views on the bilateral relations between China and Sierra Leone, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of law enforcement, education and other areas.


Ambassador Wang introduced the development of China-Sierra Leone relations in 2023, and expressed China's willingness to make joint efforts with the Sierra Leonean side to earnestly implement the important consensus of the two Heads of States in the new year, so as to push forward the China-Sierra Leone Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership to achieve greater development.

Vice President Jalloh extended his New Year greetings to the Chinese people, spoke highly of the achievements of Sierra Leone-China cooperation in the past year, thanked China for providing valuable support for Sierra Leone's national development as in the past, and said that Sierra Leone is looking forward to further strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of law enforcement, education and other areas for the people of the two countries.

After the meeting, the two sides witnessed the signing of the handover certificate of the motorcycles donated by the Embassy and Vice President Jalloh expressed his heartfelt thanks for the support of the Chinese side on behalf of Sierra Leonean government.
