A. TYPE OF VISAS

B. REQUIREMENTS

I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.Properly and truthfully filled out Visa Application Form, to which one passport-size photo is attached,

2.Valid passport with blank pages and a photocopy of the data page,

3. Additional documents deemed necessary by the visa officer.

II.SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

4. Business Visa: Original invitation from an authorized Chinese organization, travelers cheque, round trip air-ticket,hotel reservation & applicant's company register certificate, tax clearance, true bank statement.

5. Tourist Visa: Round trip air-ticket, hotel reservation, traveler check and original invitation from an authorized Chinese travel agency.

6. Student Visa: Proof of sufficient financial means, Original and photocopy of the notification of admission from the receiving school, completed Visa Application Form (JW-202 or JW-201), Physical Examination form (Q-2), HIV/AIDS & syphilis clinical test reports.

7. Employment Visa: Employment Permission and visa authorization paper issued by relevant Chinese authorities.

8. Transit Visa: Valid visa of the destination country (region) and connecting flight tickets.

9. Diplomatic & Service Visa: Official note from a governmental or an international organization

* All the documents have to be submitted in original together with a full set of good quality photocopies.

C. WORKING TIME AND VISA FEE

The working time is 9:00-12:00am on Monday,Tursdau and Thursday.

Visa processing takes 4 working days.

Visa fee will be paid upon collection. The amount are the following:

D. NOTICE

1.    Visa applicants providing forged documents or fake information will be denied and put on record.Visa applicants with suspected purpose or insufficient documents will be denied.

2. No refund of visa application documents for denied visa applications.

3. Proof of having sufficient financial support to cover his/her expenses in China shall be shown to the visa officer in this Embassy and to the immigration while entering China in the form of travelers chepues. Those who fail to do so shall be denied of ertry at the immigration.

4.   Employment and student visa holders must register themselves with the Public Security Bureau within 30 days of entry.

5. Activities not in conformity with the visa type are prohibited.

6.Overstaying will constitute a violation of Chinese law. Prior permission must be obtained for stay extension
